Serve as a triage officer responsible for the rapid assessment, prioritization, and disposition of casualties during mass-casualty and emergency-response operations. Coordinate with multidisciplinary medical teams to establish treatment priorities, allocate limited resources, and facilitate the efficient movement of patients through appropriate levels of care. Participate in military readiness exercises and training focused on casualty management, emergency response, and medical support in austere and high-tempo environments.

The purpose of this research was to characterize the oral microbiome associated with dental caries in children using whole metagenomic sequencing. Dental plaque and saliva samples were used to identify compositional and functional microbial shifts associated with the initiation and progression of dental caries. My responsibilities included recruiting subjects within the inclusion criteria, microbiological saliva sampling, and clinical data input.
